MIME type?!

I was just wondering one little thing: What is tha MIME "code" for a zip file?! I know that it's "image/gif" for gifs, but I need the one for zip and exe too (if possible...). Thanks!

For zip, it depends on the flavor.

.zip application/x-compressed 
.zip application/x-zip-compressed 
.zip application/zip 
.zip multipart/x-zip 

Generally speaking,

.zip application/zip

is probably the one you want.

As for the other

.exe application/octet-stream
