is there a way i can get the red, blue green color components of an image in PHP?

or to be more exact

[MAN]imagecolorsforindex[/MAN]

if this doesnt work just look at the Image functions in PHP.

thanks for the reply. but i'm interested in the red, bkue, green components that describe the entire image and not just one point. any sugestion?
