a simple problem

What i have::
$prestring = "<? $rsnamec='".$rsname."'; $mailc='".$mail."'; $passwordc='".$pass."'; $aimc='".$AIM."'; $charnamec='".$char."'; $racec='".$race."'; $classc='".$class."'; $d1c='".$d1."'; $d2c='".$d2."'; $d3c='".$d3."'; $jobc='".$job."'; $internetc='".$internet."';?>";

prints out to a file i want it to look liek this::

<? $rsname='value'; ...ext?>

it come sout like this
<? ='value'; ?>

i know its trying to read the data in the vars and scince there empty giving nothing, but i want it to print out the var name so why is it doing this and how can i fix it.

i was able to get what i wanted using a str_replace.
