I was doing a number of eregi_replaces on a file
when i got up to a bunch of em it said REG_EMPTY....
is that saying the register is empty??? what can i do, cuz im not even finished all of my eregi_replaces yet

Maybe "REG" is short for "regular expression"?
Without seeing some code no-one can help any further without resorting to wild guesses.
PS: use preg_replace() - it's faster and better-featured.
well actually i got it to work with str_replace...i may convert to preg_replace though..
If str_replace can do the job, use it - it's faster than the equivalent preg_replace would be (and both are faster than ereg_replace).
