Yup - I've got a series of pages - all of which contain some sort of form element on them.
All of my pages submit to themselves for PHP to validate and insert/update a mySQL database.
BUT nearly every time I submit, the browser comes up with a 'page not available' error (remember - it's sending to itself) - so I press reload and the empty page loads again - I retype the data - press submit again and everything works normally. It's like the server is caught napping the first time I submit, but the second time it's alright!
It only occurs when I'm on my PC (Win98, IE5) and never on my Mac. It was somewhat embarassing to watch my client getting 'page unavailable' errors EVERY time he submitted the page for the first time. I just chuckled and said 'oh, I know what the problem is' (but I didn't really).
Anyone else seen this?
