What Load Testing software do you recommend?

I was curious to what Load Testing software you guys recommend? I want to load test my client's PHP / MySql website in which we are expecting an average of 75-100 concurrent users.

I know there are several products out there that cost thousands of dollars but I'm really looking at something around 400$ or less. Is there any good free ones?

I'm not sure if this is quite what you're looking for, but try HotSanic

I'm not sure if that HotSaNIC software is more for web statistics than it is load testing? I basically want some software to simulate the load that many users will put on the server to give me an idea of the stability of my server under load and what kind of reponse times I can expect to see when the site goes live.
