Help needed in unicode fonts

Hi all,
I've another problem.

I want to display unicode characters in my page. The page will be in languages like chinese ,thai and so on.

i've to display the spcifice language file for the specified country.

The pages r looking good in IE6.
but the browsers ie5,5.5 and netscape versions 4.4,4.7 are not displaying the pages as expected. They show junk characters.

I tried with changing the Encoding type to (unicode)UTF-8 in all browsers. Even thought i'm getting the same result.

Is there any way to display the pages in all browsers exactly?
Can any one help?

microsoft do a utility called WEFT, which prepares font files so that you can use any font on a website, regardless of whether a site viewer has it installed.

it is free to download from here

i think you could use this to embed your asian fonts, so that they will display on any computer.

Problem is, it's only for Internet Explorer.

Besides, I don't think it's a font issue, if all these test browsers are on the same machine. (Have you tried Mozilla?)

Yes I tried with Mozilla too. I does not work. 😕 🙁 .
I'm trying with WEFT. Is there anyother way other than WEFT? Will it work in all browsers(IE,netscape,mozilla ,opera etc...)?

Pls try to help me in this regard.

WEFT will work only on IE4+ unfortunately. Predictable from Microsoft!
