I could not find a forum group on the subject so I'l try a posting here. I need a regular expression that will identify the following: ("", 4, 2) The only problem is that the last number (2) can be anything from 0-100. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Try:
ereg("(\"\", 4, (100|[0-9]{1,2}))", $value)

Hithere,
If you want to test out complex regular expressions I have a script at:
http://www.samuelfullman.com/team/php/tools/regular_expression_tester_p.php
I uses PREG but I prefer this becuase PREG can be set to not be "greedy"
Appreciate any feed back on this
