I've written possibly the largest peice of software in my development career. Basicly a large flexible profile / streaming audio database. Which wouldn't sound like much is involved, but I took the idea a few steps further building a point system and all types of flexible admin tools.
What I want to do now is make the software modular. I want to achieve the effect of such apps as postnuke / phpbb. Where i can develop features that don't require rewriting the same code over and over.
I'm familiar with includes of scripts and such. I just was wondering if anyone could guide me to some refrence material that could show examples of how i could do this properly.
