Hi, is it possible to get files(with a browser) from the that are over the www root directory? eg.
/home/myfolder/doc.pdf /home/myfolder/www/

It is meant to be root, i.e. one can't go over. To be precise, one can, but if he is a good hacker 🙂
But your server-side scripts, e.g. php, can work with files that lie outside of web-root directory.
