flash and php

i have created a mail script which gets the values from a flash file
but i want the email location to change depending on the link chossen
i can get the email location var to pass from the first two pages but not to third page. to be able to send the email

since the button used is in the flash file do a have to send the var to flash first, so it can send.
if so how can i send it to flash automaticaly since there is no other button besides the one in flash

try to rephrase your question. it is not clear what your problem is. maybe you should also provide the .fla ...

I'm trying to pass the email address varible through three pages
depending what link a person chooses on the first page.

You need to pass the variable to the .swf:

<embed src="flash/email.swf?department=<?= $department?>"

and

<param name="movie" value="flash/email.swf?department=<?= $department?>">
