I have been trying to install php as a module in apache2 under windows xp - i can only get it up as a cgi at the moment... although it still won't recognise .php file extensions as web pages

setting up the apache conf file to recognise this is a headache...

LoadModule and AddModule as indicated in the install help simply just don't work.

Heres the errorlog dump after I try and start the server....

Which version of Apache?

With Apache 2.0 I have had no success in setting up anything but the CGI version on Windows machines and the documentation from PHP is cryptic at best. Good Luck.

To get php to work as a filter with Apache 2 on windows you just have to have the correct php4apache2.dll
