Connect To Oracle (unix)

Hello friends,

Ok im developing my php script in windows environment and
using the windowns NT as the webserver.

How can i connect to my database which is oracle that reside in
another server HP-UX unix environment? How can i specify the path? IP address ? Connection string?

Are you able to connect to the Oracle instance using the Windows-based SQL*Plus utility, or are you able to tnsping the Oracle instance?

I would imagine that you can get a Oracle ODBC driver for NT. Then it's the same as connectiing to any other database (through DSN).
