previews from multi-page tifs
so how would you do it
the way i implemented this was
using the standard "convert" package
to convert into separate pngs (1 for each page)
however, for tifs with at least 10 pages -
convert takes a long time and consumes a lot
of memory - not good for on the fly
i would appreciate any advice or suggestions about the most efficient way to do this
is the tif file format easy to cut up into individual images - so that i can do it in php
