Mysql Socket problem

Hi

i am stucked with this meesage on my site any body know the solutiuon
the message is
MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (61) in mgmt/conn.php on line 16

please help

try making sure that you have the correct connection string,....

localhost:/tmp/mysql.sock

for example would in my experience be more normal... ie you need to tell it what server to use.
