Retrieving all variables in the URL string at once

Hey there,

I was wondering:

I build a site with one main page (a table in fact) and the right column of the table has the contents, the left column has the contents bar....

I address the different page with index.php?page=$pagename...

I have a quick logon form in the left column under the menubar, and when you click logon the whole index.php file refreshes. But I want the current content page to be the same after the refresh (after the login). So i need to find a way to store all the variables (example index.php?page=administration&caterogie=somecategorie&something=somethingelse ...) and send them back to the index.php file after the refresh...

can anyone help me ?

On my point of view Session would be the answer but you could also post all the var in your login form...

Around the code for the login form, put a for loop that loops thru $_GET and puts hidden fields for each query string variable.
