try keeping track of your sessions using a database rather than a file then run a query to select users who currently have sessions registered in your sessions table.
You should consider looking into PHP's session_set_save_handler() to do this
there is some code for doing just that at evilwalrus.com search through their database, im sure you'll fing something
i do use a database, but i dont keep track of sessions in it, just have username, password, email, website, and comments...b helllp

You're going to have to keep track of some sort of session data. How else are you going to tell if two requests are from the same user or not?
