can i just make a users.txt list and the users whenever they sign up or how would i do it would ihave to make a register form because im trying to make a clients login for www.orbit64.com on the partner login i made a Authenticate login to track users in php but how would i link all the files to the database or txt file or the login i make so it remebers the users and etc anyone know what im talking about and can you help me out?????

yes....heres terrific advice.. never use flatfile for user authentication

Reasons
1) Cannot change password
2) If lots of users, slow pocessing time.

Id suggest Mysql Database
