The hosting package I have gives me only 1 database... But why would you want 2? You can have as many tables as your storage size will allow, in a single database - plus it means you only need one function to access the db, you don't have to worry about which database a certain a table is on.
I can understand that if you've got 1000s of tables, you can split them into various databases for easier management - but is that the only reason to have more than 1?
