...and the answer is.....Yes!
Your install should have put 'php.ini' in a location
that it knows about --- and php's settings are,
generally speaking, controlled from there, so, yes
there is a 'configurated' php that should be available
to you.
That said, there are some settings you may wish
to 'tweak' for performance or security reasons....
Try the manual at www.php.net ... it devotes a
significant amount of bytes to the subject in the
first 2 chapters or so...
