mysqldump and where-condition

I am using mysqldump to capture certain records from my mysql database. The records I want are identified by a combination of 2 fields. I am having trouble defining the WHERE clause. I can make the dump work with one field (--where="id=64") but cannot get it to add a second part (--where="id=64 AND num=2). What is the right syntax?

Just tested it and

-w'id=15 AND wt>300' worked for me...
--where='id=15 AND wt>300' worked for me...

Replacing '-characters with "-characters works also...

Thanks for testing it out - what you used is what I expected to work, but it isn't working for me for some reason.

I backed up and tried a single where condition. It works WITHOUT quotes but not with quotes! The doc says the quotes are mandatory.

I am using linux php - no one else has seen this behavior?
