php cookies dont work in IE in localhost mode ..any solutions ?

I'm running IE5.5, PWS and MySQL connecting as localhost and cookies work OK.
They do not work, however (and I believe this also applies to IIS) if there is a redirection after the setcookie. Could this be your problem?
