This is such a newbie question that I have to ask it twice...

Ok...this is probably pretty simple for you guys, but I need a really big push in the right direction. First of all, here is how my DB is set up...

Now...what I would like to do is have the user, through a form on one page, select a city. Then they will be taken to another page listing the meetings for that city. Then I would like them to be able to select a time frame, then list the meetings for that cith they selected earlier, then the time frame they just selected.

Is this as clear as mud or what?!?! Anyway...give me the biggest push you can! Thanks!

hmmm ... what kind of "push" are you looking for? You seem to know exactly what you want to do, so what is it that you don't know? If your more specific, someone might be more helpful. 🙂

Do you need help creating a form, querying the db, displaying the results?

I'd love to help you (although I'm not that advanced myself), but nobody is going to create all the code for you. If you want a beginning point, then start by creating the first form you mentioned, and putting a select box in it to allow the users to select the cities you have in the cities table(or is that a field?). If you get stuck doing that then ask a specific question and I'll try my best to help. 🙂

you have done the hard work yourself...

you defined almost completely your needs... that's the big push you need! now all that is left to do is to code it...

take a look at the mysql manual for the select statements you will need, and take a look at the php manual for the mysql interaction and session management (to handle users/logins).

as said before, don't expect to have other people writing your code.
