Also, for anyone interested in SOAP. I've been writing some SOAP services, which are currently free to use with no sign up registration. You can find the list and descriptions at: http://www.siliconllama.com/client . This leads me right into the meat of my post.
I figured it was about time to fix up my site. The root page at siliconllama.com is the first one I ever designed, really, and hasn't changed since. It's not horridly bad and it looks kind of interesting, but it doesn't attract the types of people that might lead to lucrative paths.
So I looked around at various CMS and templating systems but decided it should be something I know how to do, and I wanted to know the ins and outs.
So I came up with the base classes and some theme classes I'm using at the SOAP part of my site.
In my theme class, I have three other classes named Head, Body, and Foot.
My head class takes responsibility for outputting the <head> section in the HTML as well as outputting "header" elements such as a top nav bar. I suspect this may be asking one class to take on too much responsibility. Any opinions?
