formating page with php

Hi,
I have a database, where I store names of individuals who passed a test. I'd like to issue them a certificate printed in my office with my supervision on a watermarked paper. I was planning on using pdflib to format page layout and print it on my paper, but my webhosting company does not support pdflib, nor will they buy it.

any suggestion on how to go about printing certificates. perhaps there's a better way ?!

from what you've suggested, it sounds like the print out would come out on the server, anyway.
Maybe a method that produces data that would be easy to make the certificate using copy/paste function would be better. For instance maybe when an individual passes, it emails you in such a way you can copy/paste from the email to the certificate printing app.

Alternatively, there are several libraries for PHP that produce pdf.
You might find them by searching for pdf PHP in google or on www.phpclasses.org or www.sourceforge.com.
