Need message board script.......

I have a site hosted on Netfirms.com and I would like to find a simple threaded message board script to use there on my domain. I do not want a remote hosted program. I have tried several and none have worked or too difficult for me. It needs to be free! Also, I'd really like to find one that allows registered users to be able to post anonymously. Thanks for any help! I have been searching for weeks.

You should try phpBB. It allows registered users to post anonymously, or (when logged in) allows them to post regularly.
phpBB is easy to setup, isn't too complex, and its free. Its a pretty mainstream bulletin board. I think their website is:
www.phpBB.com. Hope this is of some help...
