there is no such thing as a php ripper, if you mean something that can show you the source of php code on somebody's server (i.e. so you can steal code). Because of the nature of server side scripting languages, the code stays on the server and from the browser you can only see the output.

so sign up for some php lessons, and learn it like everyone else has. And while you're at it, take some english lessons.

Just to show you some people have no clue what they are doing!
Like the previous posting said,. that code stays on the server and is PARSED using the PHP parser to HTML code.
The only way for you to get the code is if you kill the parser and that would truely suck as config.inc.php files will become a very popular files.😉

im not sure what is meant by ripper?

a decompiler?

as asolell mentioned... there isn't a way to figure out from the html returned what the php is...

and i don't know of any decompiler product that will take zend encoded files and de-zend encode them...

so i think this person is out of luck..and it sounds think they are probably 13 and don't program much...

will you be a little more specific with your background in programming and what you mean by a ripper so that someone might have a chance of answering you?

I idly considered suggesting this thread be locked ... but then, we'd have lost our chance to laugh at the script kiddy.

by ripper i would image you want to 'nick' php code from another site? i would say this is pretty much impossible as phps security is good, or if someone did find a way php would prolly be out of date :p
