Where to start?

Im looking to start writing my own PHP scripts that use MySql, but where is the best place for me to go that will get me started?

Thew first thing i want is to have a simple table, that a script that will add, edit and read, and display... nothing complicated...

I found that curling up with a good book is a good place to start...

helps to get the fundamentals under your belt so the programming comes easier

look for PHP&MySQL for Dummies... excellent book

Personally I recommend "Professional PHP Programming" - it worked a treat for me when I developed my site.
