Dynamic websites

Hi,

I have a question about dynamic sites.
Do they store static html pages in a database or in the filesystem with the path stored in the database?

And what about content management? How can you manage such a huge number of pages?

The whole aspect of a dynamic site is that the content/page is made on certain instances/input from your users/scripts so that the same page could in fact display different everytime depending on, for example user preference's.. Dynamic pages are not static pages stored in a database because even if they were it still wouldnt be dynamic would it ?

So in short dynamic pages are just pages created by your script(s) based on certain conditions made by user input or data made produced by a script.
