PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 77FCB032

I have been randomely getting this error it seems when making a mysql query. If I load a page 10 times, at least 2 times I will get the error and the other 8 times it will load normally so I'm really puzzled what the cause might be. My first thought was that maybe it is a memory shortage but I'm not sure that is the case. Maybe there a setting in MySQL or PHP that Limits the number of simultaneous DB connections? Anyone have similar experiances that can help?

PS. I'm running PHP4.3.0 as isapi on Win2000 with IIS 5.

I have now just tried running php as cgi instead of isapi and the problem seems to have ceased. I wish I could figure out what was the source of problem was but at least I can avoid it for the time being.
