Trapping a Session variable in PHP from a Cold Fusion Page

Is there a way to get the session variable like for example "username" from a Cold Fusion page and use that variable in a PHP page ?

Can you mix Cold Fusion and PHP in one page ?

that holds the sessoin var then just call the cookie...am unsure if CF holds session cookies on the client, though...

might be better to wrote your own session management code to track the IP and time the user logged in to the site...maybe store in DB
