Most Recenlty Viewed

Hello all

Would anyone know how to implement a Most Recently Viewed Items in php? Like they do on Amazon.com?

If you view a donald duck DVD, and then go to a PHP book.
On the side of the PHP Book item description, you'll have a Most Recently Viewed Items. So it would list the donald duck DVD and if you click on it, it brings you it it's product description.

you need to setup a db, mysql would do well, have a table that stores the session id, and the item, then grab that info out of the db where the session id's match. and spit them out to the browser. not to hard 😉

Oh, I should have known it would be through sessions.
But unfortunately, I hate sessions variables, lol.

Can you show me a small snippet of code?
I would really appreciate it.
And yes, my backend is MySQL.

Storing the Session ID in MySQL, this would be some type of temporary table, right?

I would really appreciate any additional help you can provide.
