PHP ADODB or PEAR

Hi,

I am writing an application for cross databases mainly mysql, oracle.

Can anyone let me know their experience in using Adodb or PEAR for database abstraction.

Please let me know which is reliable as I have to implement it in the project urgently.

I was using a PEAR for database connection 3 months ago. It's simple, but If you would use some specific features (oracle - sequeces, triggers, ...) than it's unusable. It's good for common SQL programming, but not good for very specific usage of DBMS features. And I think the PEAR lib is very avarege stuff. It's scamped work.
