Die statement for Require/Include????

I'm trying to put an "or die" statement after an include or a require but it wont seem to let me!

Is this possible?

Example

Include ('file.inc') or die ("File Not Available");

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

but try this

include("file.inc")or die("On line ".__LINE__. " In file: " __FILE__ .);

now assuming i did it in the right order thats a custom made error message.

This doesnt seem to work...

This is the error message

The funny thing is, when i add the "or die" part, it wont work even if the file IS there....

you cant have vars in a include like that...
