parse RETR from telnet

Hi,

Im wondering how/or whats the best way to parse what TELNET returns from RETR mssg# for receiving emails?

I have managed to get all the information I need by using TOP, and parse it to return the sender email, subject, date, time etc etc.. its just the actual message body which I am struggling to get. It is listed by RETR but I cannot parse it out..

could anyone help me on how to do this please?
