Php and Dynamic Pages

Hi there everyone,

I have converted my website from frames/html to php because of its dynamic webpage capabilities.

I want to find out if there is anyway you can create dynamic html pages on an Linux apache webserver, without using php at all.

well if you don't want to use php then you are at the wrong forum...

however you can use php to create a page dynamically... then just take that output and store it in a file instead of printing it to a screen... that way it doesn't load and parse the php file every apcahe request... you can access blah.html, and have blah.php write blah.html, and have blah.php only accessable to an admin

Its not exactly what Im looking for, but I guess your also right that this is perhaps not the best place to post such a question.

Reason I'm considering going back to html is because Im planning to release the site on cd, which means I'll either have to convert each php file back to html, or simply switch back to html - and that solves the problem much easier.

I'll have to look around to see what options I have.
