Good Php Mid_Advance level book

Hi there all, I'm looking for a good Php book. I'm heading for Professional Php programming - Wrox. Is it a good one ?
I need a mid-advance level book that covers OO programming, working with GD, SESSIONS, PhpGTK and ZEND.
Any suggestion ?..thanX in advance

There's not much out there in the speciality areas you specify in your message... probably best thing to do is use the web and Google your way to information

Do u have any of these books ?

1) Professional Php Programming - Wrox
2) Php Programming - O'Really

the first one is more bigger 900 pg VS 500 pg.
the second one is earlier 2002 vs 1999

Which is the best one ??

Personally I always go for O'Reilly books.

One good one I was given that doesnt have an animal on the front is

PHP & MySQL Web Developement by Welling and Thomson published by Sams.

It starts off with the basics and works its way up. It covers some areas far better than the O'Reilly book.

One good tip I heard the other day. Dont buy the PHP Pocket Reference by O'Reilly if you already have the Webmaster in a Nutshell by them. Its just the PHP chapter from that book. And as the Webmaster one has a /lot/ more information for not that much more price go for that.

I have Web Application Development with PHP 4.0, it is by New Riders Publishing. I havent gotten to read it yet, but I have skimmed. Looks very good. You can look on your file sharing program and find it to download.
