PHP and the BACK button

I have a site that I am designing a confirmation page after the initial input of information.

I pass the session data from the original page to the confirmation page and that works, sort of.

The problem that if I hit the back button on the confirmation page(as some users would do if the info wasn't right)

1) the information doesn't get redisplayed in the form

2) If I reenter the information in the form then when I go to the confirmation page, none of the new information is passed.

www.cheerexpo.com/ticket/phpdata.php is the first page (not very clean but works)

Totally Stupified....

1) This may not be the quickest way to do it, but when the form is submitted why not echo everything out again in the form and highlight the missing data?

I just tried your link. I got a wrong e-mail address warning, you could and probably should validate that with JavaScript (though not everyone has JS enable of course).

Missing values in your form after intitial submit is causing no info to get through when submitting again, see 1)

The only thing i can think of is having a function throughout the confirmation that stores the session name etc and all the users input.. and when hit the back button it will be parsed..

Now thats from the top of my head.. the only thing thats would stop this from happening is.. if you set the function on the next page...

Which in most cases i would and most likely you would...
So you'd need some way to store it....
You cannot store it from the same page.. but if you have a remote file(another file) which stores the data have an include in each confirmation page.. with the value=$var and maybe it could work..

But you'd have to send that data from the form to that remote storage type file.. so it works.

Now im not exactly sure if it would work cos ive never tried it, and infact i just thought it up then...

Another way could be to insert into database like confirmation and the rest is similar..

Other than that i probably cant help you anymore..
