hi all!
i got some real problem here :
i use the lampp 2.x with php4
now i want to connect to a oracle db that is working on a win2k mashine with php.
my php aint have oci8 support till now.
and one more problem : my webserver is on a linux computer so i have to acces the db through the lan i have here.
now the questions:
how to add oci8 support to my php without reinstalling all stuff ( there are some projects with mysql allready running on the server and i dont want to loose them or to have to reinstall the lampp only because of misconfigurating )
and the 2nd question:
when i got the oci8 support, how to connect to that other computer and it's db there..... ????
i would be very pleased for some fast, easy spelled help ( iam german :rolleyes: )
