Import a browsers favorites?

I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction on what I need to do. I would like to have my php page read in the favorites the user has stored/created. Such as:

There would be an "Import my current favorites" button and it would import the persons favorites from the browser he/she would be using. Etc.

any help would be appreciated.

well, the way that I understand things is that the browser is designed to keep that info secure, and out of the hands of a script, I mean I could get a lot of info if I could read your favorites into a dbase. Now, you may look on MSDN and see if you can find the dll calls in ie to get the favorites, but that would only work on ie, then you would have to find the same info for netscape, and opera, and any other browser. Now I am not even sure that you can make the calls on the client side. now, you could get them to upload them to the server then parse the info, to get the links out of them.
