Apache Server

I was install the apache server. when I click in to it. If there have no index.html file, it will show out the file list. I saw some website will show out no authoized in the same situiation.

How can I do that??? Could I use .htaccess to do this task ?

If you wanted to only apply this to a specific directory, use this:

<Directory c:/absolute/path/to/dir_you_want_to_secure>
Options -Indexes
</Directory>
