PHP editor

I would like to know which is a good php editor, I´ve been using dreamweaver and got tired of it, I would like to upgrade to a better one, any suggestions.

JOE is the only way to go! 🙂

Its funny, when I used to code in perl I was using the old borland turbo pascal editor... that was sweet. Ive since changed to joe, cuz its about as featureless! 🙂

Maguma is good, but it has its share of bugs (did for me at least).

HAPedit is a great one. It color-codes everything but also has functions that it will help you with. It also put errors or something it does not like with the code in red.

You tried Dreamweaver, was that 4.0 or MX. Dreamweaver MX is a good one - it color codes everything.

i, being the pro that i am, use notepad and program from scratch. it gives you complete power over your code, and makes you look so much coooler.
