Comparing date

Hello Everyone!

I have a MySQL database with rows like id, date, name, url, etc.

I want to use the info on the date row and compare it so when I pull it to the page's table it will group the info with same date together and if the info it's different will create a new table??

also if is there a way to use the date row and compare with today's date so it will automatically deleted any info posted before that!?

Any help would be most appreciated!

Put "ORDER BY date" in your query to group dates together. If you want the most recent to list first, use "ORDER BY date DESC".

To delete records with date older than today

$today = date("Y-m-d");
$sql = "DELETE FROM tablename WHERE date < '$today' ";
