I have downloaded several/multiple versions of PHP4 from 4.0.x to 4.3.Oper2... only the 4.1.2 version will run under ether of these web servers without errors... All supplied extensions, give compilation date mis-matches or will not executed the PHP code I have written... I will receive messages from permission denied to cannot display page... These are reported to be stable compiled binaries... What constitutes STABLE?.... I have installed and re-installed, de-installed, and re-installed with the only success on 4.1.2...
Also, under SAPI, 4.1.2 will only operate approximately 3 hours before the above starts happening to it... I have had no problem with it as a CGI under IIS or an add-on to Apache 1.3.x.
My configuration is as follows:
3 servers:
NOTE: I do not use the ADODB add-in as it requires ODBC setup.
1 - WINNT 4.0, IIS version 3, MS Access DB local and ADO Local ( ADO will not work on network drives or UNC) Note: does have ODBC setup to network share thru 3rd party drivers.
1 - Win 2000 Server, IIS version 4, MS Access DB local and ADO local/Network Drive/UNC( COM ) - no ODBC
1 - Win XP, Apache 1.3.x, Ms Access DB local and ADO (local/Network Drive/UNC (COM ) - no ODBC
Can anyone shed some light on the other versions.
