Regex Problem

maybe you can help me

how to make an regex, which gives me true if
entire line in upcase form found?

im slightly confused

you want to look at the whole string at once

and say the whole string evaluates to true if only one line has all uppercase?

or do you want to know which line numbers have only uppercase?

should this be true or false?

or do you mean no lowercase letters?

He is saying , if string has all caps, then true.

But the newlines wil not be all caps, so its useless.

if(preg_match('/^{([a-z]*)$/m',$string,$res))}

Isn't that a double negative? Does it work?

Works fine - it just matches "any lines that don't contain a-z". The first ^ is "start of line", the $ is "end of line" and the /m modifier is why "lines" (including those between \n characters) are matched on by the ^$ instead of just the entire string.
