Email delivery status

Hi everyone

I want to deliver an email to multiple email addresses. The emails are stored in a mysql db. After delivering those mails, I need to know what the status of the delivery was and I need that to be inserted in a mysql table as well. Any idea about how to go about doing that without the use of MTAs such as qmail or sendmail.

You would have to track the email status, there are many " frowned upon " ways to do this, spam boy.

You will need to send the emails as html email

You can a piece of code in the email ( javascript, ect? ) to open a link on your server to let it know the mail was read and by whom.
