Hopefully my subject kind of hinted at my problem...
I'm running apache on my win98 machine in order to test scripts before I upload them to sites. Anyway, I've had this problem that after I start the server running, and point my web browser to localhost, it shows me a directory of my shared mp3 files! The config file for the apache server still points to the directory that it should (the "true" localhost directory), but the web browser does not recognize that directory as the localhost. Additionally, even if I move my .php files into the shared music directory (since it believes itself to be the localhost), I still can't execute the php scripts.
I suspect that this might have something to do with the p2p program I'm using for file sharing, kazaa, but I'm not sure how to remedy this.
Does this make sense to anyone, or do I sound like I'm smoking crack? Please help if possible.
