Shadeless... my guess is that most people know how to do a search. The great thing about asking about them in a forum is that you can ask real people their actual opinions on different editors, rather than letting a bot list a bunch of crap.
demonic, I use UltraEdit, myself. I have been experimenting a little with Dev-PHP, which seems to be a pretty good product, but a little difficult to get used to. For example, Ctrl-S does a syntax check instead of Save (!!!).
UltraEdit is good because it has syntax highlighting for many different languages, including HTML, Visual Basic, C++, etc. You can download syntax highlighting rules for other languages as well, such as XML and PHP/HTML. A feature I like is match bracing. It's also a great HEX editor, if you have any need for that sort of thing.
As I said, Dev-PHP is pretty good, too, but I don't know a lot about it just yet. I do like that it has syntax checking, but from what some people have said, it doesn't have regular expression searching. I don't know how important that is to you, but check it out and see if you like it.
Hope that helps in your search! There are a few other threads coving this topic, as well. Be sure to check them out for other opinions. Good Luck!
