PHP and SNMP

I need to install SNMP tools with my PHP, load some custom MIBs, and read a large (and growing) network. Anyone have experience with this that could give me tips?

I am using Redhat 7.2 and preinstalled ucd-snmp-4.2.6. My webserver is thttpd-2.21b and php-4.2.3. I read that it has to be thttpd-2.21b in order to work. I was able to compile php as a module. As far as ucd-snmp, using a third mib browser, I was able to query the system info but I am having trouble using the snmpget provided by ucd-snmp. That's how far I got.
