Help, I'm Stuck

I am sure there is an easy answer to the following, but I am just stuck at this point.

I have a script that reads the referer's IP number. I then insert each individual IP number into a MySQL database table.

I then want to view a list of the IPs, but I do not want duplicate IPs listed or counted.

Example:
22.33.44.55
123.17.121.211
22.33.44.55
22.33.44.55
212.100.127.88

Should return results (Duplicates left out)
22.33.44.55
123.17.121.211
212.100.127.88

Could some one give me a kick in the a** to jump start my brain? I have hit a mental "wall"!

if you're on MySQL (and maybe other SQL dbs?) you could also use COUNT() which returns one row for multiple indentical results. see: http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Counting_rows.html

Thanks for the help. This is what I ultimately found works for me...

$sqlquery = "SELECT DISTINCT Click_IP FROM tablename'";
$result = mysql_query($sqlquery);

Whereas "Click_IP" is a field in the table called "tablename".

oh yeah, 'distinct' - duh ;-) totally spaced on that. that's exactly it. I kept thinking 'UNIQUE' was the keyword but that's a column type. hmph.
